Hands-on-Workshop AI & Assessment: From Guidelines to Practice

The subcommunity of practice «AI in Higher Education Teaching», part of the DSI Community Education, invites you to a hands-on workshop on «AI & Assessment: From Guidelines to Practice».
In this interactive workshop, participants will explore how assessments can be meaningfully designed and adapted in the age of generative AI, weighing both the challenges and the new opportunities it brings. The workshop follows a «Bring Your Own Assessment» format: participants bring an existing assessment task from their own courses that they would like to reflect on or further develop in light of generative AI. Working on this task and exchanging ideas with colleagues from different disciplines, they will develop practical approaches for their teaching.
The workshop is based on a new guideline on the use of AI in assessment, which is currently being piloted. Participants will apply the guideline to their own assessment, evaluate its practical relevance, and contribute to its further development through their feedback.
