We are pleased to invite you to “Exploring Immersive Environments in Higher Education: How to Use Virtual Reality for Teaching and Learning”. It is the final workshop in the “The Future of Higher Didactics” series, led by Dr. Juliette Désiron and Eliana Brianza (PhD candidate/Research Assistant), where you will dive into the exciting world of virtual reality (VR) for teaching and learning.

VR offers immersive experiences that can transform traditional educational approaches, but it also comes with its own set of challenges. In this workshop, participants will gain an understanding of the pedagogical opportunities and limitations of VR in higher education. After an introduction to effective VR-based instructional design, attendees will explore VR tools, experience hands-on learning simulations, and discuss strategies for integrating VR into their own teaching practices.
