We are glad to invite you to ‘Research Hackathon: Investigating the Role of AI in Higher Education’ initiated and organized by our active community member Judit Martinez Moreno.

“Research Hackathon: Investigating the Role of AI in Higher Education” aims at fostering collaboration among university researchers, lecturers and students. Participants will work together to define research projects that explore the application and implications of AI in higher education. With insights from keynote speakers and guidance from mentors, attendees will explore how research can help to address the challenges and opportunities that AI brings to higher education. The event will culminate in a pitch session where projects will be evaluated by a jury panel, with opportunities for participating teams to be supervised further by one of the jury members and potentially apply for research funding. All participants will be awarded certificates and receive special gifts.

What is a Research Hackathon? Insights from our recent event

We recently held a Research Hackathon focused on AI in higher education, bringing together participants to exchange ideas and develop innovative research proposals. During this event, teams collaborated intensively and had the opportunity to present their ideas to a panel of judges and potentially obtain funding to develop them further.
